What is BMI?

BMI is a number that estimate your body fat. Depend of your body mass index, you can be categorised as: underweight, normal weight, overweight or obesity. It is a good gauge of your risk for diseases that can occur with more fat on the body. It is calculated only from your height and weight. Age and sex are used to compare calculated BMI to other data in this category.

BMI equation:

BMI = Weight / Height² [kg/m²]

Limitations of BMI:
